Thy Kingdom Come 2017 was a national initiative with the Archbishops of Canterbury and York calling us all to prayer from Ascension Day to Pentecost.
THY KINGDOM COME 2018
This year, a prayer tent was set up in the school hall. There were prayer stations set up relating to The Beatitudes with a focus for prayers on: compassion, humility, joy, justice, peace, resilience and wisdom. The classes took turns to come to the hall to have some reflection time and say some prayers.
THY KINGDOM COME 2017
The Parish of the Resurrection organised prayer stations with our curate, Rev. Chris Bradish for each class to visit over Ascension Day. Each prayer station took a line of the Lord's Prayer and at the end, the children said the prayer with their St Lawrence actions. It was a moving experience where the whole school came together in prayer.
