Day 1 - Monday 7th March
After a long coach journey full of 'are we there yet...' Maple class arrived safely at Stubbington Study Centre.
Maple class were then met by the Stubbington staff, who provided a warm welcome! The children were taken to their dorms and were asked to unpack. Elektra, Imogen and Kacey-Mai were the first to impress Miss Heckford and Mrs Smy with a tidy, well organised room!
During the afternoon, after a very yummy lunch, we went on our first activity of the week! The four mile beach walk. From the photos you can clearly see that the weather was on our side. All the children were praised by the Stubbington staff for being so enthusiastic! We were brilliant walkers and found a range of seashells to collect.
Clearly very tired, Maple class came back to the centre for their free time before dinner. We think Zach must have been extremely exhausted as he seemed to think it was a good idea to go to dinner in his slippers!
We are currently enjoying a wildlife talk, before we relax and play some class games.
We are looking forward to shelter building tomorrow morning.
