Year 1 Go Jetters Geography

Year 1 - Geography

The children have enjoyed building on their compass knowledge from their recent school trip to Gilbert White House.  Together we created a mind map of the different UK landmarks that we know.  The children then followed instructions using both positional language and compass directional vocabulary to help their Go Jetters visit the different landmarks.  Following this activity, the children became cartographers and designed their own symbols and key to represent the famous landmarks - Super work Year 1!
