Year R trip to Wellington Country Park

What a fantastic day we all had at Wellington Country Park! We started the day with a scavenger hunt where we had to look around the environment and collect natural materials. We then had to add them to our own leaf collage and we were very pleased with the results. Next we had a trip on the train where we saw fairy doors, fairy shops, woodland animals and hatching dinosaurs! We had a quick stop at the adventure playground before having our picnic lunches. After lunch we walked to the Enchanted Forest and laid down pebbles that we had decorated with words of encouragement by all the fairy doors. We had to be very quiet so we didn't disturb any fairies. Finally we had a walk to look at all the dinosaurs before having a final rest in the shade and catching our coach home. We were all so incredibly proud of the children's outstanding behaviour. (We even had a compliment from a member of the public.) Thank you Willow Class!
