• Year 4 Robots

  Maple class have been busy designing and constructing their own robots. The children worked really well together creating their robots and problem solving. They were given a design criteria to follow which included incorporating a working circuit.

  

• Fair Trade Easter Eggs

  Our children have been ordering Fair Trade Easter eggs. This year, the Easter Egg is not only made from Fair Trade chocolate but also is plastic free with its packaging. Our Fair Trade Ambassadors helped to promote these eggs in school, spreading the message of Fair Trade.

  

• Spelling Bee at Amery Hill School

  Today, one child from each year group formed the 'St Lawrence Legends' Team and took part in the annual Amery Hill Spelling Bee. Daisy, Alex, Zathy, Nathaniel, Luke and Tawhid worked together brilliantly and strategically. They also won the interval game where you had to make as many words as you could out of a given word. They managed 32! We were very proud of how they did.
