After school yesterday, 24 children from years 1-6 represented St Lawrence at the first Alton’s Schools Cross Country event held at Amery Hill. The children had to use their stamina and endurance to run a longer distance around the track set out on the field. I was extremely proud of them as they all showed resilience, determination and all demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship. The children represented St Lawrence amazingly! Osmington Bay 2019

From the 9th September to the 13th September, Hawthorn Class had an amazing time at Osmington Bay. Everyone completed a range of activities including: kayaking, giant swing, rifle shooting, sailing, climbing and many more. All the staff that went with the children were proud to see the resilience and determination that every child demonstrated when completing the activities; they always strived to achieve their best (even if this meant going half way or making it all the way to the top). It was a great week and everyone enjoyed themselves, some even wanting to stay longer!

Please see our blog for more details and photos of our fantastic week.
