Liss Archaeology Visit St Lawrence

On Friday 7th June Beech Class were fortunate enough to have a visit from The Liss Archaeological Society.

The children were able to experience some of the tasks undertaken by an archaeologist. They were reconstructing pots, drawing and logging finds, sorting finds and discovering the origins of some of the foods and animals we now take for granted.

The children also had the opportunity to dress as Romans and find out some more details about Roman life and Roman architecture.
