YEAR 3 visit the Natural History Museum
The children travelled to the Earth Zone and spent time finding out about volcanoes and earthquakes. We all felt shaking when we experienced an earthquake for ourselves.
The children also had the opportunity to be palaeontologists, digging up dinosaur bones and using observable features and measurements to identify the dinosaur.
As we left, the children also spotted David Walliams’ yellow post box.
